===== Folder - Masks =====

In the context of a Folder Thumbnail, a **Mask** acts like a "cookie cutter" for the icon. It defines the visible shape of the app icons displayed within the closed folder on your desktop.

**What it does:** It hides any part of the thumbnail that falls //outside// the mask's shape, allowing you to force the cluster of mini-icons into a specific form (like a circle, rounded square, or custom shape) regardless of their original arrangement.
